Progressively smooth; now magnolia, now lavender, but ultimately, the daring, dark and debonair woods (cedarwood, wenge) leave a trail as striking and vigorous as the wake of the East India Clippers, fast, cargo-bearing ships bringing teas, for the Earl of Grey, back from Darjeeling and Assam.
